The Paseo del Bosque trail in Albuquerque is ranked among the best in the west in the Oct. issue of the Sunset Magazine. The trail runs along the forest flanking the Rio Grande through Albuquerque. It's listed among the 10 best "city bike rides" alongside Boulder & Denver Co., Portland Or., San Jose & San Francisco & Los Angeles Ca., Seattle Wa., and Salt Lake City Ut.

Mayor Martin Chavez said a renovated Tingley Beach, with fishing, boating and train linking the zoo with the botanical garden contributed to the ranking.
